Approach

I base my approach on the firm’s structure and strategy in order to understand the requisite skills and behaviours required of the teams and individuals that will execute the strategy. I will translate the firm’s goals to different layers within the organisation and use this to guide the specific development requirements needed.

I distinguish myself with my ability to use different methods and instruments to initiate and maintain momentum in the development of individuals and teams. My repertoire includes psychological research, organisation theory, core competencies, role play, team roles, STAR, RET, NLP, biographical research, transactional analysis, organisation dynamics, MBTI, provocative coaching and solution focused coaching. This wide spectrum of tools and experience enables me to start every new assignment with a unique and tailor made approach.

I stick to the clear parameters and objectives of an assignment and avoid “paralysis by analysis”. I ensure that the maximum time and effort is spent on reaching a solution that can be implemented, without compromising the required depth of analysis. Experience shows that it is not always necessary to analyse all details, although my approach is suitable for intervention on all four relevant levels: the subconscious (‘who am I?’), the values and norms (‘what is my view?’), the potential (‘what am I capable of?’), and the behaviour (‘how do I act?’).

I am affiliated with various professional networks and can use these to participate in major projects. I also keep on top of the latest developments in the field.
